Who we are

The North Somerset Partnership (NSP) is the Local Strategic Partnership for our area. Local Strategic Partnerships bring together representatives from the public, business, voluntary and community sectors in a local authority area.

Because a local strategic partnership is locally based, the community are well-placed to influence its decision making. This provides the community with the opportunity to have their say on what issues should be tackled in their area.

Our Vision

Our vision for North Somerset is set out in the North Somerset Sustainable Community Strategy 2008-2026 - 'Improving our communities together'. It is:

'sustainable, inclusive, safe, healthy, prosperous communities thriving in a quality environment'.

This vision will be delivered through our six shared priorities
