Health & Wellbeing

Many factors influence people's physical and emotional health and wellbeing: the use of drugs and alcohol, living and working conditions, income, housing conditions, the local environment, access to health care education, leisure and cultural activities, what we eat and how much physical activity we take.

This delivery partnership brings together the previous Health and Wellbeing and Housing delivery partnerships as well as some aspects of the Culture, Leisure and Recreation delivery partnership. It will help to deliver the aims and improvements under the Improving Health and Wellbeing shared priority of the Sustainable Community Strategy. 

However, it will also contribute to and work with the other delivery partnerships where appropriate.
