Quality of Life Indicators
Quality of Life Indicators bring together information on a broad range of social, environmental and economic issues from a variety of organisations.
They give an overview of local circumstances, helping to track trends and progress in important issues across the area.
The Indicators can be used to:
- Help guide the work of the North Somerset Partnership (NSP) and monitor delivery on the objectives of the Community Strategy
- Highlight links between the Community Strategy and other organisations' plans and strategies
- Communicate progress and encourage action on important local issues
- Compare quality of life in North Somerset with other areas regionally and nationally
The list of indicators (pdf, 44k) has been developed following research and consultation with NSP partners to identify which indicators would be suitable to use to measure quality of life. Some are local priorities, others are national priorities.
There are nine headline indicators and 18 supporting indicators and these are shown against the Community Strategy theme, or themes, that they link to.
