NSP at Work

We are responsible for particular pieces of work.  These include:

• Developing and implementing the new Sustainable Community Strategy 
• Developing and implementing the Local Area Agreement
• The Neighbourhood Management Programme in South Ward, Weston-super-Mare
• Developing and monitoring Quality of Life Indicators

We also have to be aware of other important plans and strategies that contribute to the development of and implementation of the Community Strategy, such as:

• The Local Development Framework
• Parish Plans

Different elements of the Partnership have different roles:

• The Board is the decision making body of the Partnership
• Delivery Partnerships develop and implement action plans to deliver the objectives of the Community Strategy
• Stakeholders and local communities influence the overall direction of the work of the NSP
