Delivery Partnerships
The Partnership Board decided that to acheive the vision of the future, as set out in the Community Strategy, it was necessary to create a series of thematic Delivery Partnerships.
Key issues from the Community Strategy were identified and grouped into themes. These are:
- Communities and People
- Community Safety
- Culture, Leisure and Recreation
- Economy and Employment
- Environment
- Health and Well Being
- Housing
- Learning and Skills
- Transport
In addition, the Children's Trust Shadow Management Board is a cross-cutting partnership concentrating on children and young people's issues.
These themes require detailed action plans to be prepared and put into practice by the Delivery Partnerships and local communities. Representatives from public, business, voluntary and community organisations work together in the Delivery Partnerships to fulfil actions from these plans.
Progress is reported to the Board on a quarterly basis and to wider stakeholders and the community annually.
Each Delivery Partnership has a Board Champion to ensure information passes from the Board to Delivery Partnerships and vice versa.
