Community Safety

Our vision for North Somerset in 2025 is:

• To have a community within which people may live their lives in safety, free from crime and the fear of crime and harrassment.

Our objective is to:

• Reduce crime, the fear of crime and antisocial behaviour and increase community safety.

Our progress:

Work under this theme is led by the Crime & Drugs Partnership.  All the immediate actions identified in the Community Strategy have been completed or are well underway.

In addition, work has begun to review the Safer, Stronger Communities Fund agreement and incorporate any outstanding issues into the Local Area Agreement.

Getting involved:

Everyone can get involved in their community and help to improve quality of life, across North Somerset, for all.
